Livingston Township Information
Livingston Township
has a Council-Manager form of government. Members of the Township Council serve as Mayor for one year on a rotating basis. While the Mayor and Council members serve part-time and do not have offices at Town Hall, they are accessible to the public.
The Township Council usually meets on Monday evenings.
There are two kinds of meetings:
Regular Meetings -- for formal actions
Conference Meetings -- for work sessions
Residents are welcome to attend both types of meetings, although they do not have input at conference meetings. After the Council has finished with the agenda of the regular meetings, the public has an opportunity to express themselves on matters that concern them.
